THIS IS A 3-DAY AUCTION ONLY! This auction is for a very rare and hard-to-find Confederate States of America twenty dollar bill. This bill was given to me by my grandmother who passed away in 1971 at the age of 100. She was born at the close of the Civil War. This bill is dated in Richmond, Virginia, on February 17th, 1864. The bill is also numbered with the number hand-written in on the upper left and middle right side having the serial number of "93270". The bill itself measures approximately 7" x 3", and they were obviously hand-cut, as you can see where the next bill below it was cut unevenly. The front of the bill has a coral-like color; the back of the bill is printed in a very light blue ink. For years, this bill has been enclosed in a see-thru plastic sleeve, which it will be mailed in, along with cardboard on both sides to protect it in a secure envelope. The bill really has no tears or staining to mention and, even though it has been circulated, is in what I would consider to be very good condition. I am not a currency expert, however, so please ask any questions and I will do my best to help you. Please email any questions well in advance of the end of the auction so we may address any concerns. Winning bidder is to contact us within three [3] days after the close of the auction and payment is expected within seven read more
