Antique Fountain penAn estate find in original box Printed on box: CONKLIN'S CRESCENT FILLER FOUNTAIN PEN " Right to the Point"The 2 piece cardboard box shows some age stains from storage The box is in excellent condition, being very sturdy with no dents, rips or tearsThe box lid slides off the bottom part from either endThe very detailed " directions for the use of " Conklin's Self-filled Fountain pen " are printed on the inside of the bottom portion of the box The pen measures approx 5 3/8" - 5 1/2" long I show the following details in the photos provided here and welcome you to use the "zoom" & " enlarge " features for best view: There are two places on the body of the pen that has embossed wording:Trade Mark 30 with a hand dipping a pen into an ink well Pat Mch 17, '91 Oct 29,01-Dec 1, 03 There is a metal clip on the cap of the pen that has marvelous age patina. It is embossed with the words: Eagle Pencil Co New York Patent July 20, 1915The tip is embossed with the words Conklin Toledo and the number 3The " crescent filler" on the side of the pen has ink stain We are not familiar with cleaning or using antique fountain pens To protect the integrity of this item we have not attempted to clean it or take it apart in any way Offered as is We welcome any questions & will gladly provide more photos upon request See our other auctions read more
