Conn Alto Saxophone 1970's I haven't played this instrument for many years now but played when I was a youngster in marching bands in America. It played beautifully and had a wonderful tone. I have kept it indoors in it's hard case since then and it hasn't been played for a long time. However just before I finished playing it I had all the pads replaced and also the cork. There is a fair bit of lacquer wear and scratches/marks and also a dent on the bottom of the bell (which I believe is quite a common place to get a dent!) despite this its still a stunning instrument which I would love to 're-home' for someone else to love and play again. The keys are all moving freely and the pads are in good condition (as previously said these were re-padded before I stopped playing). The cork was also replaced but unfortunately I have left the mouthpiece attached all this time and it seems to be stuck on the neck. I'm sure with a bit of persistence it would come off, I just don't want to damage it trying! It comes with its hard case. The handle broke all those years ago and I fixed it by placing a wire through to reattach it, I have taken a photo of this but carried it round like this for many years with no problems! The serial number for the instrument is N 85280 which seems to date the instrument to 1970's. I think I have covered everything read more
