Consolidated Phoenix Glass Reuben Haley Design Starflower Art Deco Vase c. 1935Description I just purchased this vintage Consolidated / Phoenix Art Glass vase from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The vase is the Martele style "Starflower" design produced under the Phoenix "Sculptured Art Ware" trade name during the mid 1930's (c. 1935). The vase is well executed with crisp mold and nice detail to the heavily embossed Modernist design. The mild glass ground is finished in a matte sepia which shows good coverage and subtle shading over the blossoms and foliage. The vase measures 6 ¾" high, 7" wide and 3 ¾" (O.D.) at the top rim. The piece is in excellent condition with no damage. This Starflower vase would make a nice addition to your collection of vintage Consolidated / Phoenix glass or Art Deco inspired décor.
