This is a contemporary daguerreotype by Máté Bakody from 2013. Becquerel developed , 4x5 daguerreotype.The daguerreotype is sealed with glass and tape. Framed in a black wooden frame. If you don't need the frame, let me know about it.Daguerreotype is the first photography process. Every picture is unique, just like a painting. The picture was taken on a silver plated copper plate.
