Original vintage and rare piece of Abingdon Pottery; Black Mammy Cookie Jar from 1930s-50s. Unfortunately, this one has been damaged over the years. The head has been glued back on, 3 old chips on the outside edge of the lid, a hairline 2 3/4" on back of skirt and 1 chip, and paint is worn from lots of loving use, but, what a wonderful addition to an old jar collection. This jar could be restored, or it looks fine as is and is heavy and complete. T also is a partial original label on the side, stamped Abingdon USA on the bottom.
