Very cool and colorful vintage lithograph by well known and highly collectible artist Red Grooms, circa 1984, born in Nashville, 1937, currently lives in New York...This is a rare "3D Lithograph", a very clever concept developed by the artist. The images are designed to be cut from the sheet and assembled into a 3-dimensional paper sculpture. Assembly instructions included on bottom of page. A few similar lithos have been assembled and are on display in museums, galleries and private collections...The subject is a fantasy sketch interpretation celebrating "CHARLIE CHAPLIN"!Print is clean and original, never been matted or framed, in excellent condition, only light signs of handling, minor creasing on corner, ready for framing. Size is approximately 26" x 39". Custom printed in a very limited edition, by "SHARK'S LITHOGRAPHY LTD.", Boulder, CO, Grooms' preferred printer...Purchased from the estate of an art collector in Boulder, Colorado, where it was archivally preserved since acquisition from the printer in 1984.
