WELCOME! Here's a functional blast from the past - a vintage green transistor radio from Westinghouse, made in Japan. The back of the radio is marked "6 Transistor." The radio is in good condition, with some surface scratches, as seen in the photos. The radio requires a 9 volt battery, which is NOT included with the radio you are purchasing. We opened the case and hooked the radio up to a battery, and it functioned beautifully. There is no corrosion in or to the battery compartment. The stitching on the front of the case is coming undone; and needs to be re-sewn. However, the case wraps around the radio so that it is secure despite the stitching issue. The radio measures approximately 3 3/4 inches tall by 2 3/8 inches wide. The wrist strap of the case is about 12 inches long (double 6 inches). What a great vintage find! !
