Here we have a rather nicely made copper vertical boiler. It is fitted with a safety valve, pressure gauge, water level gauge and a globe valve for steam supply. The steam supply pipe runs down the edge of the boiler and runs in a loop around the inside diameter of the boiler in the "firebox" area so effectively becoming supperheated, and then the pipe passes back out for connection to whatever you require. The boiler has a single fire tube. The total height of the boiler from bottom of its feet to the top of the chimney is just over 13 inches tall, with the diameter of the boiler being approx 4 inches. This boiler would be perfect for an engine the size of a Stuart 10H or maybe even an S50, and of course any other engine of similar size. General condition looks to be very good, main construction of boiler appears to be silver solder / brazzed, obvious signs of use, there appears to be no leaks, but the boiler has not been tested in any way. The price I'm asking is little more than the price of the fittings new. Postage in UK is £8.00.
