This radiator emblem features the Cord Automobile logo, the Cord family coat-of-arms. Cord Automobiles were manufactured from 1929 until Cord sold the corporation in 1937, dating the emblem to this time. The emblem is similar to the Scottish "McCord" heraldry. This logo has a knight's helm at the top, a shield with two hearts and an arrow at the top, a dividing black line, and two arrows and a heart at the bottom, with a banner that reads "CORD."
