Corgi - Today's Leader in Die-Cast Antique Fire Trucks. This is a BRAND NEW MIB Corgi 1:50 Die-Cast Collectible Fire Truck ( about 6" long ) from the Heroes Under Fire Series. This is an American La France 700 Series Pumper built for the Boston Fire Department, operating as Engine #34. Engine 34 used to run out of the Brighton area on Western Avenue. this Beantown bellybutton of a rig includes details down to the intricate gold scrollwork on the front of the cab, and even the 1952 State of Massachusetts license plate. Engine 34 commemorates this fine apparatus and company, which is no longer around due to budget cuts and consilidation. The ALF 700 was a workhorse rig first introduced in 1945 and proceeded up until 1956 when the 800 Series came online. This item was originally released in 2003 and is Incredibly Hard to find, especially in New condition.
