Corgi Aviation Archive [released in 2000] This now very rare and hard to find set, The Confederate Air Force "Ghost Squadron", comprising the Boeing B29 Superfortress "Fifi", accompanied by two USAAF WW2 Fighters, the P51 Mustang and P47 Thunderbolt. Wingspan of the B29 is 30cm. The 3 Aircraft represent restored examples operated by the "Ghost Squadron" in Texas, and still exhibited at Airshows in the US to this day. The B29A "Fifi" is the only flying example left in the world of this huge late WW2 bomber, and continues to thrill audiences! The set has never been displayed, and the B29 was removed [carefully] from it's display so that it could be photographed on it's undercarriage, which is included within the boxed package. All aircraft are very well detailed with rotating propellers, and the display is mounted inside a clear box. The lifelike "ground" forms the base of the display, and is surmounted at the front by the Insignia badge for the CAF Ghost Squadron. The Ltd Edition Certificate is located on the underside of the base. Will be sent inside an outer box and wrapped in with bubble wrap for safety in transit, and sent by 1st Class Recorded Post. *** Thanks for Looking! *** Good Luck in Bidding!
