CORGI DIE CAST 227 MINI COOPER CAR Up for auction is a vintage Corgi Die Cast Car. I believe this piece dates to 1959, and it is their "227 Morris Mini-Cooper." It comes to you in its original box with the paper "Corgi Membership Club" information. It appears to be all original, but if you are viewing this auction, then you would know better than me. The cooper is a pale yellow with a white roof. It has round white decals on the doors with the number "1" and the hood has a racing flag decal with the flag of Great Britain. It has faux stone / glass headlights that are intact. Overall, the car appears to be in very good condition - one door decals has some wear. Additionally, there is a small area to the very right of the left headlight that appears to have a small bruise. It is certainly not glaring, but deserves mention. The box shows only negligible wear, but it does have the remnants of a penciled name or number on the very top above "Corgi Toys." The paper insert is a bit wrinkled, but has no folds or tears. Perhaps this model is missing from your collection? I will accept international bidders.
