Corning Visions 2.5L Amber Saucepan Pot Pan Visionware This is an Amber Pyrex Corning Visions or Vision Ware 2.5 Liter Pot or Saucepan with its original lid. It does not appear to have been used for cooking as it is in excellent condition, has no utensil marks on the inside, has no nicks, chips or stains and is very clean with a bright and shiny no haze finish. It does have a few shelf wear marks on the outside bottom as can be expected from normal storage. Corning made Visionware in the early 80's as a "SEE THROUGH" cookware made of heavy ovenproof glass that conducts heat well and allows food to cook more evenly. Glass cookware eliminates the chances of metal consumption into the food that can occur with metal cookware. Visionware can go right from the freezer or fridge to the oven or range top and then to the table allowing you to cook, serve, store and freeze food in the same dishes. You can use it in the microwave or on a gas or electric stove and is ideal for use on flat top glass ranges. Food doesn't stick to it and it's easy to clean as well as dishwasher safe. Shipment will be via USPS Priority Mail with 2 to 3 day delivery and shipments are normally made the same day cleared payment is received unless it is received late in the day.
