Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Vintage, CORO - Sterling Silver - Early 1940's, 1.5" Figural Beehive Pin and Earring Set. Adolf Katz Design - EXTREMELY RARE! - MINT CONDITION! - NO RESERVE! This gay and whimsical pin and earring set dates from the early 1940's, designed by Adolf Katz for Coro, done as a 1.5" by 1" figural beehive featuring a 6" attached chain and .75" bee small bee pin accented with clear and colored rhinestones set in a gold washed or gilded heavy Sterling setting. The pin comes with a matching pair of rhinestone set figural bee earrings. The set is in MINT condition showing little wear other than normal use with no damage, repairs or restorations, all original stones and no loss or wear to the gilding. The pin is marked on the back with the Coro Pegasus mark and Sterling, the earrings, Coro and Sterling on the back of the screws.
