Vintage Coro "Calopsitta" Bird Enamel and Rhinestone Half of a Duette Fur Clip Description ~ Enchantingly Wonderful Coro "Calopsitta" Bird Enamel and Rhinestone Half of a Duette Fur Clip Adornments ~ Beautiful blue, green, pink,and yellow enameling, sparkling clear rhinestones, and a rhodium plated finish. Mark ~ Unsigned but definitely Coro (please see references below) Age ~ Circa 1941 Patent Reference ~ Duette Design Patent 126,490 was issued April 8, 1941 and signed by Gene Verrecchio. Book Reference ~ Duette is featured in Brunialti's book "American Costume Jewelry A-M" on page 98. Condition ~ Rhinestones are clear, present, and still sparkling! Enamel is in overall very good condition with exception of some tiny nicks and enamel loss on tail feathers. Finish is in very good condition. Clip is tight and in perfect working order.
