I have two of these kits and decided I didn't need the second. DDR4 Ram is finicky as anything over 2133mHz is technically an overclock. I tested these DIMMS on my ASUS X99-E WS 3.1 at full speed. So if they work for you at 2133mHz but not at 3000mHz it could be the CPU or the Motherboard. In all honesty, I've found that at these higher speeds don't always work right out of the box, particularly if you've overclocked your CPU.Any questions, feel free to ask.
