THE MUSIC OF COSMOS ~ original TV soundtrack The early issue version, soundtrack album, released to an eager and appreciative scientifically-minded audience, before the licensing arguments started stopping further pressings, and with the full range of musical styles chosen to complement the earnestly enjoyable 1981 series... Gatefold sleeve, with images taken from the series and with text alongside expounding the themes and theories. 1981 (written in Roman numeral form, for some reason...) 12" vinyl release on RCA, catalogue number ABL 1 4003 Produced by various. Matrix numbers - Side One - A3 Side Two - B1 Please read the record grading guide below and familiarize yourself with the grades used. This 31 year old LP I have graded as being in Very Good++ condition. Both sides play well with no jumping, skipping or any other audio horrors. There are the usual minor hairline surface marks that any LP of this vintage, graded Very Good++ would accumulate over the passage of time. They are mainly visual and have no real impact on playback, apart from a little bit of low-level and generally non-intrusive surface noise, again, common to any used vinyl, and shouldn't spoil your authentic listening experience! Perfectly acceptable copy for vinyl-to-mp3 transfer, with a suitable player. Keep it real, but in a digital way...or you could just play it on a turntable... The sleeve I have graded as being in Very Good++ condition, with light scuffing to edges and very light 12" ring diameter wear marks front and rear, plus other small signs of storage and age. The label is in good, used condition, with no major blemishes. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
