It's made of pine that has "good age" and would make a terrific addition to a home with country pine in its decor. This table has a rich, aged patina and is beautifully made. It has a single drawer which has handmade dovetailing and a lower shelf which gives other storage options (and helps to made it sturdy). It was made c1930. It would make an excellent large end table ... a hallway table ... a small desk ... or a side table. Age (ca.) c1930 Dimensions It stands 28-1/2" High and is 30" wide X 21" deep Condition Good original condition. Sturdy. Good age with lots of character - which is just right for country pine. No significant scratches -- just the 'right' amount of finish wear and patina. Provenance We obtained this item from a prestigious estate auction in the "Hamptons" ... the 'playground' of the wealthy, Long Island's Hamptons is one of the most prestigious areas in the nation.
