DO-X Dornier cover Brasil 19-6-1931, route section Victoria - Rio de Janeiro; AS 21-6 ; very fine item traject post Victoria - Rio de Janeiro NOT in Haberer !! November 4. 1930 the DO-X flight boat started it's journey to South and North America. Due to a fire at Lisbon which destroyed the canvass covering the left wing, the flight was delayed for 2 months Finally the DO-X arrived at Rio de Janeiro on June 22. 1931. On May 19. 1932 the DO-X began it's return flight to Europe, where it arrived in Berlin on May 27. 1932.
