White envelope, empty, reasonably carefully opened at reverse flap, typed address. Registration label (perforated top and bottom) ‘CRANFIELD R.A.F. P.O.’ and sequential number. The KGVI 3d, 2d and ½d stamps are cancelled by two single-ring postmarks CRANFIELD R.A.F. P.O. BLETCHLEY, BUCKS dated AP 6 44. One postmark is reasonably clear, the other less so. On the reverse are four identical postmarks, two clear (but falling over flap) and two poor. Very good condition, subject to some damage to the reverse flap, and a light horizontal crease parallel to the bottom of the envelope. The black backing to the scans is merely to highlight the edges.
