Here we have a very solid, vintage diecast field gun in 1/32 (54mm) scale. Marked underneath 'Made in England - The Crescent Toy Co. Ltd'. This is a WW2 British 25 pounder gun.These Crescent guns are bigger,heavier, and far more detailed than the much more common, Britains version of the 25 pounder - a super gun. Still fires (good strong spring), wheels / axle fine, retains tow loop, barrel elevates. Overall in really lovely condition - only defect is minimal paint wear. PLUS a matching-scale 3-man crew in unpainted plastic by Airfix. Super, detailed figures that really do complement the gun.Altogether a great little WW2 display set.
