These glasses are brand new in the box. Each piece is hand-made and is signed Cristal Sevres on the bottom of the glass. This collection is hard to find, but each glass retails for approximately $40.00 each. The set includes the information card and certificate (pictured below). Cristallerie de Sevres dates back to 1750, when Marquise de Pompadour was granted a royal charter by Louis XV for a Parisian glassworks which she transferred tot he grounds of her residence, the Chateau de Bellevue in Sevres.
