This is an old, large, Crosby steam gauge produced for Henry Vogt Machine Company, Louisville, KY. It has CROSBY , Boston, USA on the front and AA Lbs. per Sq. In. It is very heavy with the front being brass and back being iron. It measures over 14 INCHES in diameter. We think the hand may have been repainted because t is some streaks on the paint but we are not sure. We purchased this some time ago at an auction and have enjoyed it very much but do not have room for it now. It is a great conversation piece and great decorative item. Happy Bidding!
