This is a 1951 bakelite AM Crosley painted bakelite "Bullseye" radio, model #11-101U. This small radio is from the early 1950's, resembling the dashboard of early "50's" cars. The radio is a rare blue example of this model which comes in many colors. The metalic blue is an original color repaint, as the old factory paint was chipped and faded. The professionally applied blue paint on the smooth, straight cabinet(see pics) is striking. Cleanly detailed gold lettering on the dial and the clean grill cloth contribute to the beauty of this Crosley. This Crosley has some wilder Crosley knobs and Bullseye dial indicator installed. The radios electronics have been checked over and the components have been replaced or adjusted as needed. The radio plays well with excellant volume and tone, tuning in many stations.
