Up for bid is a gorgeous Crosley from 1937,model 517 "fiver". This small radio has a unique mirrored dial that is impressive looking. This radio has had a thorough refurb.Starting with the chassis,all new capacitors,resistors tested,tubes tested etc.It plays very well with a long wire antenna.Plays loud and clear throughout the bands.It also has Short wave.The chassis is clean and rust free. The cabinet has all new lacquer.The veneer was grain-filled and shot with several coats of lacquer.It produced a nice semi-gloss look.The detail around the speaker really sets it off.
