Up for auction a remarkle beautiful Crucifix of The Cross of the Coronado made of purely of Metal high quality in complete Gold plated!! Beware of breakable resin crosses and hand painted gold leaf. This cross is entirely metal solid and real gold plated (not leafed nor painted gold)Pictures do not do justice what you get in person in this incredible museum piece made of the most expensive materials for props!! As you can see the blue/black marblelize enamel that is covered large inlay has a pattern while the thinner strips are white marble pearl !Mounted on each of the fours ends of the cross are three pearls surrounding a custom-cut blue lace agate cabochon. The cabochon has a lower profile than the spherical pearls, just like the original prop. Around each pearl is a hand-painted with dark blue marble enamel.The inscriptions are like the true cross . Measuring 8 1/8" X 6 1/4" & almost 1" inch thick !! The heavy brass chain is beautiful feel of a incredible propand is attached to the top of the cross with a gold-plated jump ring. .
