Good used condition Cross Townsend Fountain Pen, cosmetically it has several small dents and scuffs visible on close inspection. 1/20 10 karat gold filled striated, 14 karat gold nib 585 M. Engraved cap "CROSS 1/20 10K GOLD FILLED MADE IN USA", engraved clip "CROSS". Includes original box (both outer cardboard box and inner case), papers, and purchase receipt (bought new in 1997). Serial Number: 3446B0052.This comes from my father's fountain pen collection ( see my other auctions for the rest). He was a New York City attorney who mostly reserved his precious fountain pens for special occasions like contract signings. They are used but were well cared for. He was a cigar smoker and some of them have a faint tobacco odor.
