This document was the official license given by the spanish authorities to legally open a Cigar Store & Factory in the Town of " Caimito " that is located in the province of Havana. This document entitled Don Antonio Hernandez , a native of Madrid , Spain, and living in the cuban town of " Caymito " ( Caimito or Caymito was a town located about 20 miles east of the city of Havana ) to legally open a " Tienda de Tabaco y Taller " - " A cigar store and cigar factory " , also the document registers Don Antonio Hernandez as member of the Cuba Cigar Makers Association or " Gremio de Tabaqueros " . Document is hand signed by the cuban cigar administration chief , Mr. Salvador Bermudez, document is hand written and dated January 1st ,1818. Document measures about 6.3 x 10.5 inches , document is in excellent condition with a minor bug hole located on the upper left area.
