Hourglass shaped ultra glam black 50's cocktail dress. After doing a burn test I've discovered its some sort of rayon or rayon blend. But it feels somewhat like a medium weight silk/wool crepe. Quite a lovely fabric. Sleeveless fitted bodice has a pleated "shelf bust" that is draped with criss crossing satin ropes that match the ones forming the front part of the straps. There is seaming through the middle of dress to give it its figure hugging shape. It is fully lined in black taffeta and there is a back kick pleat and metal zipper closure. Label reads "Maggie Stover" Meaurements-bust 36", waist 27", hips 38", length 45", armhole opening 16". Excellent, near mint condition. To ensure proper fit, please be sure your own B/W/H measurements are a bit smaller to allow room for movement.
