Shop At Home Antiques: You are bidding on an HOLLYWOOD REGENCY DOROTHY DRAPER CHINA CABINET CURIO Features: Marked by Designer Label: A Dorothy Draper Creation, Viennese Collection. A well known designer, designed for Henredon. She sold her business in 1960. She was born late 1800s in New York. Probably made in the 1950s for Henredon Furniture. We have not seen a manufacturers marking, but considering the history of Dorothy Draper and that this piece is certainly in the high craftsmanship of a Henredon, we believe this was designed for Henredon. Glass panel doors and glass sides for optimum display of items in top hutch. Wood grid on outer doors over the glass panes. Doors work well with magnetic connection. The Viennese Collection features large curvaceous moldings and serpentine drawer front designs. Big bold, ornate, sea creature like brass handle pulls. Faux escutcheons. Dovetail, solid wood construction. 2 piece unit. Faux key entrance. Comes with the tassle pictured. Base has three drawers that work properly, thick wood drawers. Top hutch feature a cream color interior with fixed grooved shelving space and a light for each shelf area. Solid wood backing. Comes the screws to secure the top hutch into the base.
