It has an 11" long, 2" wide blade , with a 6" hand carved and painted Crown Stag handle! This knife has been appraised at $375.00 . The Buck Deer on the American Stag handle, is free-hand American Folk art! The thick, oil soaked American cowhide sheath was individually crafted of 11-oz. Herman Oak leather - custom tanned in St. Louis , MO. Each sheath is hand laced and then hand riveted to last a lifetime! CAUTION!: The Upper on this blade is razor sharp , it is NOT a false edge! This knife was built as a working knife, not just a beautiful piece of American design and Folk art. IT WILL CUT YOU if not handled with care and respect. THE MAKER: During the late 1950's in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri, Ken Richardson, then a professional blacksmith, began collecting old discarded cross cut saws left behind by local lumber jacks who were switching to chain saws.
