Custom Built Heavy Relic Alder (Nitro Cellulose) 50's Surf Green Relic't Telecaster guitar I have built this guitar from scratch,all the parts have been sourced seperately. All the hardware has been aged has been aged and the body and neck and headstock have also been aged and worn to replicate 60+ years off gigging. knocks,dings and general wear and tear of a guitar from the 50's upwards. The scratchplate has been relic't to replicate years of nicotine filled clubs, bars etc, and has been worn to simulate where the pick has come into contact with it. The pickups are Standard Fender Squire which I always use to keep the cost of the build down, you can always changed them to your preferred pickups at a later date, but usually the guitar sounds really good with them. The machine heads are aged Kluson type. and it has a aged 50's button string tree. The bridge and neck pickups have also been aged There isn't any fret wear, the frets have been re-skimmed and polished. And action is extremely low, as low as a Gibson Les Paul. The guitar has been set up, i.e intonation etc. The body is Alder and the guitar weighs a nice 7.25lbs and the neck is a big C shape I have put a link on Youtube below, so that you can see and hear the guitar being played. /watch?v=wEgJaNBD_hE&feature=youtube_gdata
