Up for auction today is a custom detailed and weathered EMD Oakway Lease Sd60. This unit is painted in the traditional Blue/White EMD lease paint of the 90's.. This number is accurate, as is the deailing for this unit. Many of the source photos used for this unit were found at . This unit features the reliable and smooth Athearn genesis motor and driveline. Yes, you read that correctly, this was an Athearn RTR unit that has been fitted with a genesis motor, and light board. custom bent brass brake lines speed recorder cable installed custom bent brass sanding lines Custom conspicuity striping (yellow strips on the sills) installed. atlas MU hoses installed atlas Trainline air hoses installed details west coupler cut bars installed Ditchlights (WORKING!) installed and correctly painted. MU recepticles installed correct end handrails installed radio equipment installed to match prototype. (roof beacon removed) Correct snow plow installed The entire unit has been weathered with a combination of chalks, artist acrylic paints, and airbrushing.
