What you are looking at: This is a full tang drop point knife, 7 7/8" overall length with a 3 1/2" cutting edge. Blade Rockwells at 58 - 60 and is made from 440C stainless steel and is very sharp. High carbon and stainless too. Will not break, crack or chip in cold weather. It will hold an excellent edge. Blade is 1/8” thick and 1” wide at the bolster (heavy made knife). Bolster is stainless steel with finger groove and pins are made from nickel silver. The scales are made from shed “Elk Antler” and are matched on both sides. Scales are made from a single piece of antler that split down the middle so the color and texture are matched on both sides. Very nice mix of color and texture on the scales. Blade finish is mirror polished. Excellent working knife and the added finger groove in the bolster makes it feels great in your hands - Well balanced. There is no sheath with this knife. A larger version of this blade design was used by Les Stroud (Survivorman) on his "Arctic Tundra" episode. The episode was filmed on Baffin Island in 2008.
