I have one of my favorite custom knives from Mel for sale. Mel's custom knives of this caliber will set you back $975.00, if you can get one made. The only reason that I am selling this knife is to offset the cost of a grail watch. Mel made this tanto folder using a crazy cool scales that he fluted. Mel told me that this is the only knife that he has ever made with this material. He received a sample that was just enough for one knife and said he forgot where it came from, so he was never able to order any. As you can see this is a beautiful knife with fluted damascus bolsters and fileworked anodized titanium liners. This knife has been a safe queen that will make a great addition to someone's collection.
