This is a custom modified Athearn diesel locomotive with a GP body that is now a 'slug'. It has been equipped wit a bunch of cleanly installed details such as roof-mounted lift rings, separately applied handgrabs, see-through footboards, brake hoses on each pilot, porthole lenseswhere the cab used to be, coupler lift bars, Kadee couplers, and numbered number boards (21B). The body has been custom-painted and lettered for a private railroad ''Panoche Valley'' in green and yellow and then lightly weathered The handrails all-around have been painted and the stanchions glued-they are straight. The chassis has been re-motored with a Sagami DC motor and brass flywheels and it runs well. There are no lights though the wires are already attached to the motor for that purpose. Though the road name is not genuine, the work done here is top-notch and it is in EXCELLENT+ condition.Shipping in the U.S. is 12.75.I stand corrected. Apparently the ''Panoche Valley'' did exist in the Fresno-Salinas area at one time many years ago. I don't know about the color scheme but the railroad was an actuality.
