This is a custom MZ hand forged knife. For collecting, camping, or all purpose use. The handle is made from a elk antler, with curly maple and brass spacers. It has a textured brass guard and pommel with a hematite cab set in the butt of the handle. The clip point blade is hand forged out of 1095 high carbon steel. The blade has a triple oil quench followed by a triple heat draw. I forge my blades to have a one of a kind rustic western look. Each blade I forge has my initials MZ stamped into the steel which stand for Monte Zavatta. I forge my blades to have a one of a kind rustic western look complete with occasional hammer marks.
