This auction is for a custom painted Genesee & Wyoming G&W SW1500, number 47 as it appeared in the early-mid 1990s period. Everything on this engine is exactly how it looked, from the details, rooftop antiskid black paint, weathering, roller bearing trucks, and so forth. See the posted prototype photo of the engine at Retsof in 1994. This is the old Athearn Blue-box locomotive, and it does run. This locomotive was transferred to the Willamette & Pacific in 1995, and worked out there in its illustrated dress before hastily being relettered for its new home road. Give this old girl a good home, she looks tired, but she has plenty of life left! Shipping will be calculated based on buyers location. Please contact me with any questions.
