This auction is for a custom painted Rochester & Southern (R&S RSR) GP40, number 106 as it appeared in at least the 1993-1994 period. Everything on this engine is exactly how it looked, from the details, blue airhorn, weathering, and so forth. See the posted prototype photo of the engine at Punxsutawney in 1997 (The cab door had been replaced, but the model predates this). This is the old Athearn Blue-box locomotive, and it does run well. Extra weight has been added for more pulling power. Give this old girl a good home, she looks tired, but she has plenty of life left! Shipping will be calculated based on buyers location.
