KOKOPELLI DANCER With RIVER CANE FLUTE This is a 3-day Auction Kokopelli is the Flute Playing Trickster of Hopi Folklore, and is perhaps the best known Native American symbol. I have depicted 3 dancing Kokopelli on one side and a single Kokopelli and lizard on the other side. On the front and the base of the pony I have placed the symbol of the four winds. The Native American Flute is a hauntingly beautiful instrument that anyone can play. T are no rules to playing, you just feel the music. I have included a working Cherokee River Cane Flute with this pony. This is not a toy flute, this is a real Native Made Flute. I am a member of the Chickamauga Cherokee Tribe. As a working artist for the last 30+ years I am excited about these Paint Your Own Ponies. I see these ponies as a way to explore new artistic visions that just doesn't fit into the same old box. I have been a working figurative and portrait artist for many years. I have also taught adult art classes in watercolor, oils and colored pencils now since 1989. Early in my career I entered many contests and placed in a number of them. I will include a complete biography to the winner of this auction. I paint these ponies on a Westland "Paint Your Own Pony" using only artist grade paints and I finish each pony with an Artist Grade Clear Acrylic Matte Coating. I use the Matte
