Up for auction is a nicely weathered Athearn "Blue Box" Pullman-Standard PS-2 4740-cuft 54' covered hopper car. Car began life as a blue box kit, sort of a lowly start in this day and age! Car was assembled by a previous owner, and is assembled correctly, and has no broken parts. Car has been upgraded with Kadee #5 couplers and Kadee 36" metal wheels in the original trucks. Then, it was off to the weathering shops for some filthy/rusty washes and a trip to the spray booth for some light airbrush weathering on the roof, ends, underbody, and lower sides. This toned-down, yet not "abused", car will look great in your fleet! Car number is TLDX 6746. The Fine Print: Models are USED, and do not include original packaging. Shipping will be a flat $7.00 for Priority Mail to any US address. Non-US customers should contact me for a quote. Items are from my personal collection, and are described based on quick inspection of the item at time of listing. Sold as-is. I'm an individual who is selling in my limited spare time. So it may take a day or three between payment and shipping.
