A very nice antique cut glass decanter, maker unknown, marked as shown "Waterfill & Frazier - Grommes & Ullrich". Cut glass with deeply engraved gold filled lettering. Measures 8-1/2" tall without stopper, 10-1/2" with stopper in place. Stopper fits perfectly but is not numbers matching, a good replacement. Waterfill and Frazier whiskey is famous for moving to Mexico during Prohibition, while Grommes & Ullrich apparently was a large Chicago based company. Certainly this bottle is early, circa 1900. Very good glass. No chips or cracks except the tip of stopper. Bottle has been used and does show some white and rings inside. Gold in lettering is very good.
