CVC Helmet represents a convergence of technologies without compromise to offer high ballistic performance, durability, comfort and improved communications. Armored vehicle crews use this helmet series with the M-138/G microphone and MK-1697/G headset utilized for a comfortable, adjustable liner. Medium. The Kevlar® ballistic shell provides V50 Ballistic Test performance at a minimum of 1,400 fps (427 mps), while typical performance is 1,500 fps (456 Mps) • Three-position switch allows radio, intercom and listen-in only modes • Sound attenuation is maximized via ear cup design • Outbound communications benefit from a microphone signal-to-noise ration of 15dB • Fully adjustable liner and retention strap system • Padding materials provide comfortable protection from temperature extremes while significantly attenuating external noise • Helmet easily accommodates the addition of the M-25 gas mask while in place • Kevlar ® is a registered trademark of E.I. duPont deNemours and Co., Inc. • Olive Drab.Good overall condition, Size large Helmet is complete and in working order, comes with communication cord.
