9ct gold wrist watch by notable watch maker Cyma. The word derived from the French "cime" meaning top,summit or top of the tree.The case weighs in the region of 6gms, hence the start price.3cms in diameter would be equally at home on a man's or lady's wrist.Believe the hallmark to be from 1959. The face has watermarking developed over time but if originality is not important to the buyer it could be easily restored. Centre seconds with Arabic numerals all in gold colour. The dial carries the Cyma signature as well as notification that the movement is protected by the Cymaflex shock proofing system, developed in 1950. The movement is a full 17 jewel and the ratchet wheel is marked Tavannes Switzerland. Which is the mother company.
