Original 1900 Czarist Russian silver cigarette case. Inside of the case is gold washed and marked on two sides is a hallmark "AH" and a right profile of a woman (Russian imperial silver mark). The front lid is chased and engraved with flowers, foliage and name. Inside the cigarette case is also engraved in Russian with a dedication & date of November 16, 1900. It is heavy and solid. It has rounded corners and plain silver push piece. Quality Russian silversmith work. Case is in good condition with normal wear and toning. Approx. 3 3/8" x 3".
