This Mstisov bowl features Frantisek Zemek's characteristic subtle combination of pale peach/pink, green/blue, and amber on clear glass, and is illustrated on pages 66-67 of Mark Hill's excellent book on Czech glass, "Hi Sklo Lo Sklo". This example is fluid, tactile, and heavy. It is in very good condition, with only minor body wear, and movement wear to the flat base and base edges consistent with its age. It measures approx max 150mm long x 131mm wide x 54mm high, and weighs a surprisingly heavy 760g. This is a classic example of Zemek's work, and one which displays splendidly.
