A book Czech model engines maps history of amateur and professional construction of model engines in the Czech Republic roughly since 40. of the last century. Nearly 300 model engines are described in detail in 160 pages. There are amateur engines of piece production and also motors produced in big series. Often they are a unique work of art, which document hand skills of the Czech modelers. With very simple machine equipment they managed to construct motors of very high quality that fully served its purpose. To the best-known contructors belong Gustav Bušek, Josef Pfeffer, Vaclav Stejskal, Frantisek Stary, Vojtech Zoch, Frantisek Jezdik, and also firms as MVVS or Vltavan. Besides classical model engines for airplane models there are also vehicle engines and pulsating engines. Worthy of remark are also the amateur constructed multi-cylindrical and four-cycle engines. In the book you can find over 800 detailed photographs and drawings of some engines with historical documents, e.g. advertisements and articles from magazines. Format of the book is A4 printed out on chalk paper in paperback cover. Side texts are in the Czech and also English language.
