In the mid-1980s, Czechoslovakia introduced "Red Desert" camouflage, a five color "splotch" pattern of tan, light green, dark green, rust, on a light khaki background. It was never adopted for use by Czech forces, but was widely exported to Czech military clients in African and the Middle East. Most notably, it was used by SWAPO insurgents in Southwest Africa, and also copied by their South African "KOEVOET" adversaries. This Czech Red Desert SWAPO KOEVOET camo combat jacket is in mint, unworn condition and is a size Medium. It features four double exposed button closure pockets and is a great relic of the Cold War. Bid with confidence and please view our other great military and aviation classics, including an original South African Railway Police SARP camo combat jacket in mint condition, size Large.
