3 Czech Vaseline/Uranium Rhinestone Buttons #340 - LARGE These beautiful crystal buttons were made in the Czech Republic - Northern Bohemia, are made from VASELINE/URANIUM glass, beautiful and UNIQUE handpressmolded relief!! - BELLS - handpainted from the top ONLY with GOLD - decorated with DIFFERENT COLORS OF RHINESTONES, from the bottom have buttons special SILVER METALIC FINISH - makes beautiful mirror effect, UNIQUE and RARE VASELINE buttons!!!!!!! 4-way metal Shank Uranium/VASELINE glass is created when 2% Uranium Dioxide is added to the glass formula. It is a very difficult color to produce because of its high percentage of breakage in the creation process of this rare glass. Uranium glass is giving the button a UNIQUE green tone as the light reflects through the glass - UNBELIEVEBLE color effect - it "glows" a bright fluorescent green when UV light is shined on the glass.
